• THE WORLD’S FIRST EVER REPOSADO: At Casa Herradura, our maturation process exceeds industry standards, pushing the boundary of excellence since 1870; our Reposado Tequila has been aged in charred American White oak barrels for 11 months; 9 months over industry standard.

• TEQUILA HERRADURA REPOSADO HAS 49 AWARDS INCLUDING 21 GOLDS: The original Reposado has a rich amber colour with notes of cooked agave, vanilla and butter; the additional time in the barrel creates a smooth sweet finish with a slight taste of spice.

• CASA HERRADURA IS THE LAST TEQUILA-PRODUCING HACIENDA IN THE WORLD: our tequila’s signature taste is spicy, herbaceous and compex, a typical example of a lowland-style tequila derived from the 100% hand-harvested blue weber agave grown in the volcanic lowland region of Amtitan, Jalisco.

• CASA HERRADURA USES A 100% NATURAL FERMENTATION PROCESS: Being a hacienda, our casa houses over 16 different species of fruit trees on the grounds; adding their own unique strain of airborne yeast to open fermentation tanks resulting in a bright, citrusy and smooth taste, making our tequila ultra premium and perfect for sipping, cocktails and gifting.

Tasting Characteristics

Amber colour, with copper shades. Intense aromas of roasted agave, spices, oak and anise. Mild taste of vanilla, dried fruits and butter. The finish is soft, sweet and slightly spicy.

Patrón tequilas are handcrafted at the Hacienda Patrón distillery in Jalisco, Mexico where people are the heart of the process - one that has remained the same since the very beginning. First, skilled jimadors uproot only the finest 100% Weber Blue Agave with the perfect sugar content and transport the heart of the plant to Hacienda Patrón. They’re then hand chopped, baked and crushed by a two-ton volcanic stone tahona wheel and a roller mill.

The agave is then fermented in pine oak tanks and distilled in small batches using copper stills. Each bottle of Patrón is a work of art, meticulously inspected, hand corked and signed.

Warm and clean as the Jalisco sun, our 100% agave tequila is aged in bourbon barrels for 12 to 18 months.

TASTING NOTES :Bold color and full body show off vanilla and warm spice flavors.

Aroma: First pass reveals smoky white oak with subtle notes of dried fruits, plum and almonds ~ then spices and vanilla afterwards.

Taste: Full body and mouthfeel with a subtle sweetness emerging from the toasty oak, and a peppery note underneath.

Finish: A prolonged, warm finish with spice and soft alcohol notes.

TASTING NOTES: Filtered eight times to achieve a crystal clear color.

Aroma: Complex aroma with sweet, oak, caramel, apple, and floral notes. It embraces the perfect balance found in rare, handcrafted spirits.

Taste: Full body and mouth with cooked agave, oak, aniseed, citrus, caramel, cinnamon, and eucalyptus notes. Pleasant and smooth on the palate.
